Rudolph &
Barbara immigrated from Rudploh died in 1903 in Frankfort Penitentiary in
Frankfort, Ky where he was sent for the attempted
murder of his wife Barbara (see link to newspaper article below). Barbara died in 1905
in a tragic kitchen fire accident (see link to newspaper article below). |

Anna Gump is the
mother of Barbara Gump Sommers and my great great great grandmother. The children in the photo are unidentified
but are presumed to be two of her grandchildren, children of her daughter
Barbara Gump Sommers. Following the death of Barbara in a tragic
kitchen fire 1905, her children who were still living at home, were raised by
their grandmother, Anna Gump |
